Vigorous trailing evergreen perennial forming a dense mat up to 50cm thick. Succulent brittle stems with tightly held purple foliage that has distinct silver stripes running along each leaf. Small white flowers are produced intermittently throughout the year. Very invasive.

 

HOW IT SPREADS

  • The plant is spread vegetatively through dumping of garden waste, water movement and mowing.
  • Reproduction can occur from the smallest piece of stem so effective disposal is paramount.
