The Grow Me Instead (GMI) program, first initiated by the Nursery and Garden Industry of NSW & ACT (NGINA), is managed by the Nursery and Garden Industry Australia (NGIA). It is a voluntary partnership with member nurseries to encourage the removal from production and sale of plants known to be invasive in the natural environment. The Grow Me Instead website has been supported by the Nursery and Garden Industry Queensland (NGIQ) through funding from the Australian Governments Caring for our Country.
The Grow Me Instead (GMI) program resources have been developed through the contribution of many individuals in all Australian States and Territories. Click on the applicable state or region to view contributing stakeholders.
