Fast–growing small tree with
drooping branches that occurs
naturally in the Alice Springs
area. Its height will vary from 4
to 12 m depending on soil type
and availability of water. It may
sucker to form a copse but this
is not problematic in the garden
- suckers can be removed if not
required. It produces pale yellow
flowers after rainfall in the wild,
but may be more free-flowering
in a garden situation. It is frost
tolerant.
